thank you so much for subbing this show in english!! just a suggestion though: it would be better for lan wangji's title (含光君) to be kept in pinyin instead of translated as "second childe lan" because it says a lot about his character that he is known as 含光君. if it really has to be in english, maybe you could go with "lightbearer"? also, maybe "childe" can be "young master" instead because it's strange to hear characters like lan wangji, who is in his 30's during the present timeline, being referred to as a "childe" haha. but again, thanks for bringing this to english speaking audiences!

I absolutely love this novel series. I really enjoyed the animation adaptation, and I have high hopes for the drama adaptation.
This is just my opinion, but... I like the actor who plays Wei Wu Xian. He has that playful and mischievous attitude well portrayed! I don't know much about the cast, but I'm not a fan of the cast for Lan Wang Ji. I just feel like he should be more mature looking, and not this pretty fragile looking boy. And just in general, why does he look so much younger than his disciples? They even kept the timeline to 16 years, so technically the two main characters should look to be in their late 20's at least. I guess a younger cast has its benefits, but then the younger disciples should be younger too :c Overall though, it seems promising. At least it seems like it'll cover the whole series which is great!
Again, this is just my opinion. No friend of mine follows this series so I have no one to talk to about this series :c
