I gave up on Hollywood movies after the endgame. China, Japan, and South Korea have some of the best movies. If you want a buddy cop action/comedy like rush hour， but better I recommend Koreas Midnight runners

His reputation is ruined in the Chinese market, so he tries to work his way out with foreign markets before his bad reputation spread out in the western market as well.

I can understand why writers are upset but there are thousands of people who worked on this film who are being affected. All their hard work, days on end and long hours in making this story come to life shouldn’t just disappear.

I wish Chinese movies have less CGI. and most of the actors look the same to me. don't get me wrong, i am Thai. i understand this type of handsome but i really can't tell the difference between some actors. sometimes I watch Chinese movies and i feel so many people look the same, the body type is similar, skin tone, and everything almost the same.

Ok ok, so this is a Chinese film (with both mainland and Taiwanese actors from what I can see) from a Japanese source material made by Netflix. And the trailer is hella epic. The CGI is great. The one dude keeps yelling "Boya!!!", and I'm trying to figure out if their relationship is master-student, or rival-to-brothers, or something more romantic. Happy to see how far Asian films have made it tho. I've already been impressed by the VFX China and Japan produced like from the film “妖猫传” (also a Japan and Chinese mixed film). Looking forward to more!
