I second this opinion. 'Three Body Problem' series was a treat from start to finish. Please do a series for 'The Dark Forest' book too - it logically follows from Three Body Problem, and has fascinating theories / resolutions and also one the best showdowns in the history of science fiction. Thank you Tencent.

This is the best adaptation in the history of humanity!
It is so perfect! I had the same feelings as after reading the book which I read twice!
And the visuals are just incredible. I learned how all the science things look like from a new perspective. The characters look like real people.
Some people complain about a lack of motivation, colors, and emotions. But these people have to remember how "gray" real life is. Scientists, their motivations, and emotions are depicted perfectly. As a scientist myself, I cannot ask for more. It is personal. And I deeply appreciate this series for depicting life and the book as it is. Real. Boring. Slow. Cruel. Hopeless. Hoping. Brave. And wondering!

Fun trivia: the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology where Professor Wang Miao works is a real institute. When the crew first applied to visit the institute, they are using a fake working title for the TV series and get ignored. Then they decided to reveal that they are actually adapting The Three Body Problem. And the whole instute greeted the crew with excitement and let the crew shoot footage of the real labs.

Truly amazing series on so many levels. Id be writing for hours trying to express it but kudos to everyone involved behind the scenes and on screen. The casting directors nailed it and the actors were artistic. The only down side is having to wait for Dark Forrest now. Im sure it'll be worth the wait!

Man, Netflix can dream of their adaptation being anywhere near the quality of this series. This series was absolutely spectacular and I hope its viewership was sufficient for the other two book's adaptations to get greenlit as well. 10/10, I will recommend this to everyone who will listen to me.

I will rate this TV show 10/10, in spite of all those imperfections, dragging and unlikeable new characters. Because i can see this is a Three Body show made by Three Body fans for Three Body fans. Netflix doesn’t have such fanatic qualities.Great show, great finale!

This was the most faithful adaptation to any hard scifi book I have ever seen. So well done! I don't even think I will bother with the Netfix version. I hear it already skipped massively important parts. Here is to Dark Forrest hopefully coming out soon!

The subtleties and drama of wenjie’s life story and time at red coast were really well done. Honestly the pacing could’ve been adjusted to spend more time there and on the final explanation about sophons but these are small complaints. Amazing job for such a difficult to adapt work.

I realy enjoyed watching this series. I still can't believe it was made available for free by Tencent. The lack of "criticism session" of Ye Wenjie's father is a let down, because it was such an important moment in the first book, but I can imagine, that people who were on both sides of the Cultural Revolution are still alive, and if something like this was shown on national TV, then a lot of people would be agitated by this (on both sides). Anyway, a great series - an instant classic!!!

我真的很喜欢看这个剧。我至今无法相信它是腾讯免费提供给我们的。缺少对叶文洁父亲的“批斗会”挺让人失望的，因为在第一本书中这是极为重要的时刻，但我也能想象，文革中的双方，如今还都在世，如果这样的场面在国家电视台上播放，那双方的很多人都会因此被搅扰。无论如何，这是一部很优秀的剧集，堪称时下经典！！！

I enjoyed this very much. Show was a little bit too slow in the first half or so for my taste. It felt like the number of episodes could have been condensed a little. Some of the foreign casting could have been better and not all the female Chinese characters needed to be the "pretty type". Apart from these minor criticisms, the series was a great start to Chinese scifi television brought to a foreign audience. I hope "The Dark Forest" will also be adapted.
