I remember when I left my phone by mistake in a cab. I contacted the cab driver through the support portal and he came back to my location to hand it to me. He didnt ask for money but I gave him another full amount equivalent to what my earlier trip with him had costed me. These guys are making pennies. And its not like they are asking for extra.

She her self agreed to the payment cost and said that she would pay the driver when he arrives with the phone, the moment he arrived she refused. If she refused at first he could have dropped the phone at the station and not bother wasting fuel to get to her.

I'm glad he has this on video some customers are really dishonest. If she wasn't going to cover his time for coming back he could have left her phone at a police station near him before and not wasted his time.

That lady is really a Karen. She probably demanded to speak to the manager when she filed her complaint.
The driver did the right thing, he would have just left it at the nearest police station at the start, but since that lady ask him to bring it back to her, she had a verbal agreement to pay 20 yuan which is really nothing, i would gladly pay 10% to 25% of the cost of my device as a returner fee.
Instead she decides to back flip on her words and judging from his reaction, it's the right thing to do is just drive off and either throw the phone away or since he's a nice guy, drop the phone off at the police station (however far off he wants it to be).
People like those can't be reasoned with.
I know since I work in customer service and the amount of entitled people nowadays are delusional level now.

I can think of worse things that the driver can do. He can remove the SIM card and sell the hp away. He will definitely get more than $20. You are asking a paid-for-hire driver to drive over to you to deliver something, then you should pay him for the distance travelled like you actually hire his ride from his location to yours. I can think of worse things that the driver can do. He can remove the SIM card and sell the hp away. He will definitely get more than $20. You are asking a paid-for-hire driver to drive over to you to deliver something, then you should pay him for the distance travelled like you actually hire his ride from his location to yours. I left my Raybans once in a taxi. Called up and got my sun glasses returned at a location that was convenient for both of us and gave him triple the taxi fare even though he wanted nothing. Fair is fair.
